Boys Baseball

Englewood Youth Sports Association offers a competitive boys baseball program for Englewood area youth and is a feeder program for Englewood High School. Kids compete against others for roster spots at a sanctioned tryout. Generally, teams play a 18 game regular season and may participate in 2-6 tournaments in a season. Tournaments are optional per team.

E.Y.S.A. is part of the Jefferson County Junior Baseball League. Generally, there are 12 to 20 teams in each league. Currently, we offer teams in 7 age groups: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14- year olds. In addition, we also offer clinics conducted by the Englewood High School baseball staff. If you have a player interested in trying out for a team, please contact EYSA at 303-789-5391 and leave the participants name, address, telephone number, past playing experience, and his age as of April 30, 2008.

Baseball Registration Fee: $100 (does not include uniform)
Uniform Fee: $65

Here are some upcoming important dates:

Jan. 31 Open Registration for 8, 9, 10, 11 year olds
Feb. 1 Open Registration for 12, 13, 14 year olds
Feb. 25 Dead line to have 14 and high school level III teams bracketed
Mar. 24-25 Camp with Coach Rowe and the high school players (this date is tentative)
Feb. 27 8-13’s final bracketing
Mar. 8 Start date for all 14 year olds (Games begin)
Mar. 31 Start date for 8-13 (Games begin)
May 18 End date for all 14’s
